 Limited edition of 750 exclusive to the Royal Crown Derby Visitor Centre. As the first piece in the Designers' Collection, Sue Rowe has chosen the Peacock. In the promotional literature Sue says "The Peacock is the perfect subject for me, I gained so much pleasure from recreating the rich detail in my own style for this exciting new model. The vibrant colour and fine detail of the peacock's irridescent plumage was a pleasure to create. This beautiful and mystical bird has been a symbol of pride for thousands of years." Sue based on this paperweight on a peacock called Charlie who roams the garden of one of her friends.
