Limited edition of 500 from Govier's, Sidmouth. The stained glass windows depict the story of the nativity. The triple window on the East side (end opposite the bell tower) shows the Virgin Mary with the baby Jesus on her knee and an angel on either side. The South front window next to the door depicts St Joseph with the donkey being warned by the ark angel to leave Bethlehem and go to Egypt. The window next to it shows the shepherds in the stable. The left and centre North front windows show the wise men (Magi) following the star and bringing the gifts for the baby with an authentic coat of arms in the right window. The picture above the West door shows the implications of the crucifixion. The vicar of the church is the Reverend Chris Thomas, a play on Christmas. Part of Govier's Miniature Village, an exclusive part of a general range of miniature village buildings. |
