Limited
edition of 1250 from Govier's, Sidmouth. It is the second paperweight
in a series of Gypsy
Caravans. Together with a green canvas roof, the sides
are adorned with panels decorated with Old Imari patterns. Hanging
beneath the body is kettle, large cooking pot and bunches of lucky
heather.
The Barrel-Top Caravan had a round, canvas top on a bowed wood frame and a darker interior because it had no side windows. It was popular because it was so much lighter to manoeuvre. |
