Chinese Year Paperweights
| In October 2007 Royal Crown Derby started a series of limited edition annual paperweights that represent the Chinese symbol for the forthcoming year. These paperweights were available exclusively from Sinclairs in the UK and Royal Doulton in Japan. | |

During his presentation at the Sinclairs Chatsworth event on 14 October 2007, Simon Willis (Royal Crown Derby) said that John Ablitt is working on a new series of 12 pieces that will be introduced each year to symbolise the Chinese year. It is anticipated that these paperweights will be similar in size and price to the New Year Mouse paperweight. |
